Though I have to admit that the whole Hair band thing left me a little high and dry. I just couldn't get my head around guys in spandex, I did poke around the metal arena. (pun intended)

Anyone know Marillion?

I first listened to "Script for a Jester's Tear" in '83, and have enjoyed them ever since. They've never really stopped their pursuit of change either. I also love Fish's solo stuff. Vigil in a Wilderness of Mirrors. Good stuff.

Sort of a mix of Tull, Genesis, Floyd, King Crimson, ELP, that kind of thing. Very Proggy.

That's exactly what I said, dire - Marillion! I got the bug in Brazil and had most of their albums by the time I left in 1989. Had to give away all my album purchases - wax don't fly so good. Haven't listened to them since. Gotta search 'em out!
